RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION DECLARING A MORITORIUM
ON DOG LICENSE EXPIRATION DATES UNDER
CITY OF PASCO ORDINANCE 1092, PASCO
CITY CODE, CHAPTER 7-12.
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco, Ordinance 1092, Pasco City Code,
Chapter 7-12, provides for annual license fees for dogs, and
WHEREAS, the City of Pasco has turned the licensing of dogs and
enforcement of ordinances relating to dogs to the Benton -Franklin County
Humane Society; and
WHEREAS, said Society has requested that all dog licenses now
effective but which will expire prior to December 31, 1967, remain in
effect until that date, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. All annual dog licenses which are now effective but
which will expire prior to December 31, 1967, shall remain in full force
and effect until December 31, 1967.
Section 2. The dog licensing ordinance insofar as it relates to
dogs not now licensed and delinquent licenses shall remain in full force and
effect and the provisions of this Resolution shall in no way effect the enforce-
ment and collection of the 1967 license fee.
Section 3. This Resolution shall be in effect after its passage as
required by law.
PASSED by the City Council and. APPROVED as provided by law
this day of July, 1967.
