RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City
of Pasco, Washington, declaring its intention to
order the improvement of Brown Street from Aurilia
Avenue to Arthur Avenue and certain other streets
and avenues in the City of Pasco, Washington, by
grading, constructing and installing new base course,
1 1/2 inch of asphalt concrete surfacing, curbs and
gutters and storm sewers and to create a local
improvement district to assess a part of the cost
and expense of such improvement against the
property in such district specially benefited
thereby and notifying all persons who desire to
object to such improvement to appear and present
their objections at a meeting 1966e City Council
to be held on August ,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PASCO, WASHINGTON,. as follows:
iSection 1. It is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Pasco, Washington, to order grading, construction and installation
of new base course; 1 .1/2 inches of asphalt concrete surfacing, curbs and
gutters and storm sewers on the following streets and avenues in the City
of Pasco,, Wa.s,h n,gton:
'Brown Street from Aurilia Avenue to Arthur Avenue
Marie Street from Aurilia Avenue to Arthur Avenue
Octave Street' from Aurilia Avenue to Arthur Avenue
Henry Street from Lucas Avenue to Arthur Avenue
Aurilia Avenue from Henry Street to Court Street
Frances Avenue from Henry Street to Court Street
Norbart from Henry Street to Court Street
All of the foregoing shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications
therefor prepared by George R. Fisher, City Engineer.
Section 2. Not to exceed a total of $134,151.73 of the
cost and expense of such improvement shall be borne by and assessed
against the property specially benefited by such improvement to be included
in the local improvement district to be established embracing as near as may
be all property specially benefited by such improvement. The balance of the
cost and expense of carrying out such improvement shall be paid from moneys
available to the City for such purpose.
Section 3. All persons who may desire to object to the
improvement herein mentioned are hereby notified to appear and present such
objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chambers
in the City Hall, Pasco, Washington, at 8:00 o'clock p.m.. -(PDT) 'on August
20 1966 , which time and place are hereby fixed for hearing all matters
relating to said proposed improvement, and all objections thereto, and for
determining the method of payment for said improvement.
Section 4. George R. Fisher, City Engineer, is hereby directed
to 'submit to the City Council on or prior to the 2nd day of August
1966, all data and information required by law to be submitted.
The foregoing resolution was ADOPTED 'by the City Council
of the City of Pasco, Washington, at a regular meeting thereof this 5th day of
July, 1966.
