A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, declaring its intention to order the improvement of Brown Street from Aurelia Avenue to Arthur Avenue and certain other streets and avenues within the City of Pasco, Washington, by the construction and installation of paving, surfacing, drainage , curbs and gutters, and to create a local improvement district to assess a part of the cost and expense of each continuous unit of said improvement against properties in such District specially benefited thereby and notifying all persons who desire to object to said improvement to appear and present their objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held on June_, 196S. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, as follows: Section 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, to order street construction consisting of paving, surfacing, drainage , curbs and gutters on the following streets and avenues in the City of Pasco, Washington: (a) Brown Street from Aurelia Avenue to Arthur Avenue Marie Street from Aurelia Avenue to North 4th Avenue Octave Street from Aurelia Avenue to North 4th Avenue Henry Street from Lucas Avenue to North 4th Avenue Margaret Street from Arthur Avenue to North 4th Avenue Park Street from Arthur Avenue to North 4th Avenue Aurelia Avenue from Henry Street to Court Street Francis Avenue from Henry Street to Court Street Norbart Avenue from Henry Street to Marie Street Poplar Avenue from Marie Street to Court Street Fifth Avenue from Sylvester Street to Park Street Arthur Avenue from Park Street to Court Street, being one continuous unit of the proposed improve- ment and herein referred to as "Unit 1 . " (b) Bonneville Street from 13th Avenue to Lucas Avenue Thirteenth Avenue fromt%ark Street to Bonneville Street, being one continuous unit of the proposed improve :-:,.ment and herein referred to as "Unit 2. " All of the foregoing shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor prepared by George R. Fisher, City Engineer. 4A Section 2. That approximately 15% of the cost and expense of each continuous unit of the proposed improvement, shall be paid by the City from funds available to it and the entire balance of the cost and expense of each continuous unit of said improvement shall be borne by and assessed against the property specially benefited by such improvement to be included in the local improvement district to be established embracing as near as may be all property specially benefited by such improvement, PROVIDED, HOWEVER,, that any property owner within Unit 1 who may desire additional widening of the following streets and avenues for angle parking may have such additional widening and the entire cost and expense of such additional widening shall be borne by and assessed against the property specially benefited thereby, to -wit: Brown Street from Aurelia to Arthur Marie Street from Aurelia to Arthur Octave Street from Marie to Arthur Henry Street from Lucas to Aurelia Park Street from Arthur to North 4th Section 3. That all persons who may desire to object to the improvement herein mentioned are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chambers (P.D.S.T.) in the City Hall, Pasco, Washington, at 8:00 p.m von June 14, 1965, which time and place are hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating to said proposed improvement, and all objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment for said.im-provement. Section 4. George R. Fisher, City Engineer, is hereby directed to submit to the City Council on or prior to the 24 day of June 1965, all data and information required by law to be submitted, The foregoing resolution was ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, at a regular meeting thereof this 18th day of May, 1965.
