TRAFFIC LIGHTS AND CAPITAL OUTLAY BOTH UNDER THE STREET
DEPARTMENT OF THE 1963 BUDGET,.. AND TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF
$110.00 FROM LIGHTS,`' WATER,• AND PHONE TO SALARY - EXTRA LABOR,`
VACATION,' SICK LEAVE AND OVERTIME BOTH UNDER THE CEMETERY
DEPARTMENT OF THE 1963 BUDGET, AND TRANSFERRING THE SUM OF
$740. 00 FROM SALARY - METER MAID TO TELEPHONE,' GAS',*'OIL,' AND
REPAIRS',"' BOTH UNDER THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE 1963 BUDGET.
WHEREAS, when the budget for the year 1963 was made and adopted,
the City Council underestimated the amount needed for street signs, sidewalk
construction, traffic lights and capital outlay and overestimated the amount
needed for material supplies and seal caai� ;, both under the Street Department
of the 1963 Budget, and
WHEREAS, when the budget for the year 1963 was made and adopted,
the City Council underestimated the amount needed for salary, extra labor,
vacation, sick leave and overtime, and overestimated the amount needed for
lights, water and phone, both under the Cemetery Department of the 1963 Budget,
and
WHEREAS, when the budget for the year 1963 was made and adopted,
the City Council underestimated the amount needed for telephone, gas, oil, and
repairs and overestimated the amount needed for salary - meter maid, both
under the Police Department of the 1963 Budget, and
WHEREAS, transfers maybe made within the general classes of
the budget by.resolution in accordance with R. C. W. 35. 33. 120, and
WHEREAS, the transfers are for the best interest of the City of
Pasco, NOW,' THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The sum of $2, 449.44 from material supplies and seal
coat= shall be transferred to .street signs, sidewalk construction, traffic
lights, and capital outlay, both.under the Street Department of the 1963 Budget.
Section 20• The sum of $11.0.-00 from lights, . water and phone shall
be transferred to salary ., extra labor, vacation, sick leave and overtime, both
under the Cemetery Department of the 1963 Budget.
Section 3.' The sum of $740. 00 shall be transferred from salary
meter maid to telephone, gas, oil and repairs, both under the Police Department
.of the 1963 Budget.
Section 4.' This resolution shall be in full force and effect after its
passage as required by law.
PASSED BY the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this
17th day of December, 1963.
