RESOLUTION NO.* '571
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of
the City of Pasco, Washington, declaring
its intention to improve West Bonneville
Street -from North 3rd Avenue to North
4th Avenue by the construction of curbs
and gutters, grading, ballasting, and
surfacing from curb to curb for a total
width of 51 feet, and to improve South
Douglas, Street from Butte Street to
Helena Street by construction of curbs
and sidewalkson both sides thereof, and
to create a local improvement district
to assess the cost and expense of.each
continuous unit of said improvements
against properties in such district
specially benefited thereby; and notifying
all persons who may desire to object
to.said improvements to appear and
present their objections at a meeting
of the City Council to be held on
January ! , 1964.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PASCO, WASHINGTON, as follows:
Section 1. That it is the intention of the.City
Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, to order the following
improvement,,, within the City of Pasco, Washington:
(1) The improvement of West.Bonneville
Street from North 3rd Avenue to
North.4th Avenue by the construction
of curbs and gutters, grading, bal-.
lasting, and surfacing from curb to
curb for a total width of 51 feet,
all of the_:.foregoing being one con-
tinuous unit of the proposed improve-
ment and hereafter referred to as
"Unit No. 1."
(2) The improvement of South Douglas
Street from Butte Street to Helena
Street by .construction of curbs and
sidewalks on both sides thereof, all
of the foregoing being one continuous
unit of the proposed improvement and
hereafter referred to as "Unit No. 2."
All of the foregoing shall be in accordance with the
plans and specifications therefor prepared by George R. Fisher,
City Supervisor'and City Engineer.

Section 2. That the entire cost and expense of said
improvement,.:; shall be borne by and assessed against the property
specially benefited by such improvement to be included in the
local improvement district to.be established, embracing, as' near
as may be, all property specially benefited by such improvement;
PROVIDED, HOWEVER,, that in the event the actual total cost and
expense of said improvement shall exceed the preliminary cost esti-
mate of the City Supervisor and City Engineer by more than ten
percent, the City shall pay that portion of said cost and expense
which exceeds said ten percent. That the assessment rates shall
be computed on the basis of the cost and expense of each continuous
unit of said improvement, as above described.
Section 3. That all persons who may desire to object
to the improvement herein mentioned are hereby notified to appear
and.present such objections at a meeting of the City Council to
be held in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, Pasco, Washington,
at 8:00 p.m., on January _7 ; 1964, which time and place are hereby
fixed for hearing all matters relating to said proposed improvement,
and all objections thereto, and for determining the method of pay-
ment for said improvement.
Section 4. George R. Fisher, City Supervisor and 'City
Engineer, is hereby directed to submit to the City Council on or
prior to the 7th day of January, 1964, all data and information
required by law to be submitted.
The foregoing resolution was ADOPTED by the City
Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, at a regular meeting
thereof this 17th day,of December, 1963.
