HomeMy WebLinkAbout0511 ResolutionRESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO INVEST SURPLUS FUNDS. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to make the following investments in United States Certificates of Indebtedness for a period of approximately ninety days: General Obligation Bond Fund, 1961 $7, 000.00 1956 Fire Station No. 2 General Obligation Redemption Bond Fund 2, 000. 00 Firemen's Relief and Pension Fund 10, 000. 00 Water, Sewer Revenue Bonds, 1954, Principal and Interest Fund 10, 000. 00 Emergency Ordinance No. 983 & 993 Fund 8,000.00 Library Construction and Acquisition Fund 12, 500. 00 Section 2. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to invest the following monies in separate accounts of not over $10, 000 in the Yakima Federal Savings and Loan Association, Pasco, Washington: Cemetery Trust Fund $2, 400.00 Firemen's Relief and Pension Fund 10, 000.00 Water, Sewer Revenue Bonds, 1957, Reserve Fund 5,000.00 Consumers Deposit Fund 8,000.00 Section 3. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized to invest the following monies in separate accounts of not over $10, 000 in the Fidelity Savings and Loan Association, Pasco, Washington: General Obligation Bond Funds, 1947 $10, 000. 00 Local Improvement Guaranty Fund 200. 00 Firemen's Relief and Pension Fund 10, 000.00 Section 4. The investment of the monies in the Firemen's Relief and Pension Fund haste been approved by the Firemen's Relief and Pension Board; and the investment of the monies in the Library Construction and Acquisition •Fund has been approved by the Library Board. Section 5. These investments have all been approved by the Finance Committee of the City of Pasco.
