CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 412
A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the
City of Pasco, Washington, .declaring i_ts in-
tention to-improve Brown Street from Chase
Avenue to Lucas Avenue and certain other streets
and avenues in the City of Pasco, Washington,
by the construction and installation of asphaltic
concrete pavement, crushed rock base course,
concrete gutter and concrete curbs, temporary
storm sewer fac-iliti6.s and appurtenances, and
all ,necessary .contingent items, and to create
a local improvement district,to assess a part-
of the cost and expense of said improvement
against the properties.specially benefitted
thereby; and notifying all pensons.who.may
desire to object to said improvement to appear
and present. their objections at a.meeting.of
the City Council to,-b6.'.h,held on May 14� 1958.
BE IT RESOLVED'BY THE CITY COUNCIL 0P THE CITY OF PASCO.,
WASHINGTON, as follows_;. -
Section 1. That it i.s t'he intention of the City Council
of the City of Pasco, Washington, to order the construction ands`:
improvements of',,City streets, the. improvement . to c.onsisty .of asphaltic'...
concrete pavement,, crushed.rack:base course, concrete gutter and
concrete curbs where necessary, temporary storm sewer facilities'"
and appurtenances,and all necessary contingent items, as follows:
(a) A 42 foot wide street on Brown Street
from Chase Avenue to-Lucas Avenue; on Marie Street
from Chase Avenue to Lucas Avenue.on Octave Street
from Chase Avenue to Mead Avenue; o-n Henry,Street
from the wet •property line of Meridian'Avenue to-
Illinois Avenue; on He-nry.Street from Mead Avenue
to Lucas Avenue; on-Margaret Street from Meridian
- Avenue to"-Illinois Avenue;. on. Meridian Avenue from
Marie Street to Court Street; on Illinois.Awenue
from-Sylvester Street.to'CourtStreet,• on'Mead
Avenue from the south property line-of Henry'Street
to' Court Street; on,,-Oneonta Avenue from Henry Street
to Court Street.
(b) A 42 foot wide street on Meridian Avenue
from Henry Street to Marie Street.
(c) A 62 foot wide street on-Sylvester Street
from the west property line of Illinois Avenue north
of Sylvester'Street'to.the east property line of
Mead Avenue.

Section 2. That the entire cost and expense of the
improvement, except for an amount equal to twenty. percent (20%)
of the improvement cost up to a maximum sum of $20,000.00 which
shall be contributed by the City, shall be borne by and assessed
against the properties specially benefitted by such improvement to
be included in a local improvement district to be established and
to be known as "Local Improvement District No. 64," the boundaries
of such local improvement district.being described as'follows and
to include the following described lands:
All of Blocks 9, 10, .15, 16, 17, 18, 23 and
the west one-half and the southeast one-quarter
of Block 24 in the Pasco Improvement Company First
Addition; all. of Blocks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12, 13,
14, 1.5, 16 and the west -one-half of Block ll,'the.
westrone-half- and southeast: -one-quarter of Block 10,
the east ' one=half ofBlocks'-8 _ and 9, and all of
Block '7( except Lots 7 and 8. in .the Stadium Park
Addition; al.l` of B.uek"'Second Addition; Lots 1, 2,
3 5, 6 ]:2, 13. 17 of Block 1 in
the Star Addition; all of Block 3 and 4, and Lots 1,
2, 3, 4, 5,611, 12, 13'1 14, 15, 16,._ 17, 18, 19, 20..
of d3lock -2; in Carters Add`tio'n; the north -one-half
ofBlock 24, and tots 17-,..,18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23,
24, 25, 26, 27, 2 Sof Block 25 in Helmfs Second
Addition.
Section 3. That all persons who may desire to object to
the improvement herein mentioned are hereby notified to appear and
present such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be
held in the Council Chambers in the CityHa" Pasco, Washington, at
8:00 o'clock p. m. on the i4th day of May, 1958, u. which time and
place are hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating to said
proposed improvement and all objections thereto and for determining
the method of payment for said improvement.
Section 4. That'Cornehl, Howland, Hayes & Merryfield,
-Consulting Engineers of Corvallis, Oregon, and George Fisher, the
City Is Engineers, are hereby directed to submit. to .the City Council

prior to said 14,th day of May; 1958, all.data and information
required by law to be submitted.
