A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING FUNDS UNDER THE
"FIRE DEPARTMENT" SECTION OF THE 1958 BUDGET,
AND CLARIFYING SALARIES. UNDER. THE TERMS OF R. C. W.

.WHEREAS, when the Budget for the year 1958 was made and adopted, the
City Council, of theCity of Pasco incorrectly stated the salary for the Assistant
Chief, the Captain, the seven regular firemen, the three new regular firemen,
and the volunteer firemen, and
WHEREAS said incorrect figures are based on mistakes in computing salary,
raises based on longevity, and
.WHEREAS the total amounts to be expended by the Fire Department for the
year 1958.remains the same; NOW, THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS;
Section 1. The. Assistant.Chief's salary, under the "Fire Department" sec-
tion of the 1958 Budget shall be changed from $5,017. 20 to $4, 826. 40.
Section 2. The Captains salary, under the "Fire Department" section of
the 195.8 Budget shall be changed from $4,616. 00 to $4, 699. 20:
Section 3. The salary for the seven regular firemen, under the "Fire De-

Section 4. The salary for the three new regular firemen under the "Fire
Department's section of the 1958 Budget shall be changed from $12, 960. 00 to
.$12, 240. 00.
Section 5.. The. salary for the volunteer firemen, under the."Fine Department's
section of the 1958 Budget, shall be changed from$.2, 000. 00 to.$2, 327. 60.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 17th day of
December, 1957.
