RESOLUTION NO
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE THE CONVEYANCE. AND AGREEMENT SELLING
THE TELEPHONE SY5TEM AT THE PASCO AIRPORT TO THE.
PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco isdesirous of selling
the telephone system at the Pasco Airport, and
WHEREAS, the City Council on August 16, 1955, e-stablished a minimum
price of $3, 000. 00 for said telephone system and authorized an advertisement
for bids for the sale of said system containing said minimum price, anti
WHEREAS, the only bid received was that of Pacific Telephone and Tele. -
graph. Company for the sum of $3, 000 and
WHEREAS, the sale has- been approved. by the Civil Aeronautics Author-
ity and it is. deemed to be to the best- interests of the City of Pasco, NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Pasco are hereby
authorized to execute the Conveyance and. Agreement selling the telephone system
at the Pasco Airport to. the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company.
PASSED by the City Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this. 17thday
of April, 1956.
