HomeMy WebLinkAbout0379 ResolutionRESOLUTION NOrj�-- / A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ILiINIMUM REQUIRE- 14-LNTS FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS AND ESTABLISH- ING MINIMUM1 STANDARDS OF CONSTRUCTION FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS. 'WHEREAS, The City Council is desirous of encouraging uni- form and orderly improvement of streets throughout the City of Pasco, and WHEREAS, the minimum requirements for street improvements and minimum standards of construction for primary and secondary arterials and access streets should be established by the City Council of the City of Pasco, NOW".. THEREFORE, THE CITY CCUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the minimum requirements for street im- provements shall be subgrading and placing of four (4) inches of ballast or selected roadway borrow over that portion of the platted street lying between the curbs and shall not be less than 42r. Section 2. That all primary arterials if and when improved above the requirements of Section 1 shall conform to the follow- ing minimum standards: curb and gutter, 8" compacted depth ballast and selected roadway borrow, 2" minimum compacted depth top course surfacing, and 3" asphaltic concrete. Section 3. That all secondary arterials, if and when im- proved above the requirements of Section 1 shall conform to the following minimum standards: curb and gutter, 8" compacted depth ballast and selected roadway borrow, 2" minimum compacted depth top course surfacing, and 2" asphaltic concrete. Section 4.. That all access streets, if and when improved above the requirements of section 1 shall conform to the follow- ing minimum standards: curb and gutter, 4" compacted depth ballast or selected roadway borrow, 2" minimum compacted depth top course surfacing, and 2" asphaltic concrete. Section 5. That width of street curb to curb and all alley improvements shall be determined individually by the City Council upon recommendation by the City Emgineer. Section 6. That all street improvements shall be per- formed in accordance with plans and specifications by the City Engineer and approved by the City Council and under the super- vision of the City Engineer.
