RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PASCO, municipal corporation
Franklin County, Washington
WHEREAS, THE City of Pasco is the record owner of all that portion
of the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter (SE4NE') Section 24,
Township 9 North, Range 29 east W.M., Government Lot 2, southeast quarter
of the northwest quarter (SE4NW1) EXCEPT, the southerly 110 feet of the
east half of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of the north--
west quarter thereof, and the southwest quarter of the northeast ouarter
all in sectionr19, Township 9 North, Range 30 E.W.M., lying southerly of
a line drawn parallel with and distAnt 75 feet northerly, when measured
at right angles and/or radially from tle center line of Primary State
Highway No. 3, Columbia River Bridges to Primary State Highway No. 11,
connection.
AND ALSO, the hereinabove described subdivision lying northerly of
the said parallel line and southerly of the following described line:
Beginning at a point on the northerly right of way line of Primary State
Highway No. 3, Columbia River Bridges to Primary State Highway No. 11
Connection at right angles and 75 feet distant northerly from Highway
Engineer's Station 549 � 20; thence northwesterly to a point that is 250
feet northerly and 40 feet easterly of the West quarter corner of Section
19, Township 9 North, Range 30, E.W.M.; thence westerly 80 feet to a point
250 feet northerly and 40 feet westerly of the said quarter corner; thence
southwesterly to a point on the northerly right of way line of Primary
State Highway No, 3, Columbia River Bridges to Primary State Highway No. 11
Connection that is 75feet northerly at right angles from Highway Engineer's
Station 546 � 20.
WHEREAS, IN the .construction end improvement of Primary State High
way No. 3, Columbia River Bridge to Primary State Highway No. 11 connec*
tion by the State of Washington, Department of Highways it is necessary
and advisable for the State of Washington to acquire title to all said
lands for right of way for said highway; and
WHEREAS, after due consideratiin by the City Council of the City of
Pasco, it appears to the said Council that it will be for the best inter-
ests* of both the City of Pasco and the State of Washington that the City
of Pasco convey_ and quit claim said lands to State of Washington by Quit
Claim Deed for a consideration of mutual benefits hereinafter derived.
NOR THEREFORE, be it hereby RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, that the City of Pasco in accord-
ance with Chapter 266 of 1943 and through its Mayor and Clerk, execute
said Quit Claim Deed,, and deliver said deed to the State of Washington,
Department of Highways.
