A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PASCO WATER FOLLIES INCORPORATED,
A COMMUNITY CORPORATION, AUTHORITY TO LICENSE CONCESSIONS; USE
OF STREETS; USE OF SWIMMING POOL; PARKS; PERMIT FOR CARNIVAL.

WHEREAS, the Pasco Water Follies Incorporated is a cor-
poration composed of seven Pasco service, fraternal and civic
organizations who annually stage a celebration for the City
of Pasco.
WHEREAS, the Pasco Water Follies Incorporated is a non-
profit organization using any profits for community welfare,
now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO,
that the Pasco Water Follies Incorporated be authorized to
stage the Follies which includes boat races, swimming races;
square dances, street dances, parades, -lectures, fair, carni-
val, and license all concessions on the streets and at.the car-
nival and at the Memorial pool and at the boat races.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all fees, licenses or
charges normally made by the City in so far as they shall
affect the celebration, be waived for the week beginning
July 17th, 1954 and ending July 25th, 1954.
