A RESOLUTION ABANDONING AND VACATING THAT PORTION OF THE
OLD EXISTING SANITARY -STORM SEWER LINE WHICH HAS BEEN RELOCATED.
WHEREAS the Unit6d States of America has petitioned that
the portion of the old existing sanitary -storm sewer line which
has been relocated be abandoned and vacated, and
WHEREAS said sewer line has been relocated rendering the
olde sewer line of no further use or value to the City of Pasco,
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Pasco hereby abandons, and vacates
that portion of the old sanitary -storm sever line located on
the following described property in the County of Franklin)
State of Washington, to wit:
Commencing at a point lying south 225.0 feet from the
intersection of the center line of Ainsworth Avenue
and the center line of Columbia (5th Street in the
City of Pasco; thence running South 19030' West along
the center line of said Columbia (5th) Street to its
intersection with the center line of River Avenue;
thence South 27° 45' East to a point lying on the
north line of the south 10 feet of said River Avenue.
and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING: thence continuing
South 2701+5' East across the south 10 feet of River
Avenue to a point on the north line of Lot 1 in River
Block of Riverside Addition to Pasco (according to
the plat thereof recorded in Volume "B" page 44, Plat
Records of Franklin County, Washington; thence con-
tinuing south 270 1+5' East across said Lot 1, and
across the right of way of the Northern. Pacific Rail-
way Company into the Columbia River.
2. That this resolution does not Affect rights-of-way
of the City of Pasco to construct new sanitary -storm sewer
lines at sometime in the future.
