HomeMy WebLinkAbout0347 ResolutionRESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION CLARIFYING THE WATER AND SEWER CHARGES FOR THE NAVY HOMES PROJECT. WHEREAS the written contract covering water and sewer charges for the Navy Homes Project expired on the 28th day of February, 1954, and WHEREAS the following portion of the minutes of the meeting of the City Council of the City of Pasco of March 16, 1954, were made in error: and, "Contract for water service at Navy Homes expired February 28, 1954. Motion made by Avery, seconded by Connell that the Navy Housing Project be charged commercial rate the same as any other comparable business in Pasco. Motion carried." WHEREAS it is the desire of the City Council,of the City of Pasco to continue the water and sewer rates as they existed under the agreement expiking on the 28th day of February, 1954, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: r Section 1. That the water and sewer rate to be -charged to the Navy Homes Project from the 28th day of February, 1954, shall remain the same as it existed under written contract with the Navy Homes Project prior to said date. Section 2. The City Council of the City, of Pasco may enter into an agreement with the Navy Homes Project extending the old agreement for water and sewer rates in accordance with the following motion made and passed by the City Council of the City of Pasco on the 4th day of May, 1954: "R. S. Brown spoke regarding water billing for the Housing Project; contract mentioned sets out 61' meter to bebilled monthly at $2.00 per occupied unit on 500 cu. ft. and .05 per 100 cu. -ft. over; Sewage Treatment Plant $1.00 per month - per occupied unit. This is amendment No. 2 -Con. HA (Wash 45152) MPH 102. Motion made by .Avery, seconded by Connell to extend old agreement of the Housing Authority. Motion carried."
