WHEREAS, the City of Pasco is the record owner of the Southwest Quarter of
he Northeast Quarter (SW4 of NE -41) of Section 24 Township 9 North, Range 29 E.W.M.;
Franklin County, State of Washington, and
WHEREAS in the construction and maintenance and improvment of Primary State
Highway No. 3, Pasco Approaches to Columbia River Bridge by the State of Washington,
Department of Highways, it is necessary and adivsable for the State of Washington, to
obtain a BORROW PERMIT LEASE, for the purpose of excavating and removing highway
materials in any quantity, consisting of rock, gravel, sand and/or earth from any portion
of said lands, said lands being described as follows;
Beginning at a point, which is the center of Section 24, township 9 North, Range
29 E.W.M.; thence North 00 201 West a distance of 198.3 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence North 0* 20! West a distance of 400.0 feet; thence North 87° 451
East a distance of 662.0 feet.; thence South 0° 201 East a distance of 400.0 feet;

thence South 87° 451 West a distance of 662.0 feet to the ture point of beginning,
situate in Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (SW4 of NE4) of Section 24
Township 9 North, Range 29 E.W.M. Franklin County, State of Washington
'PMMAS, affter due consideration by the City Council of the City of Pasco, it
appears to the said council that it will be'for the best interests of both the City of
Pasco and the State of Washington that the City of Pasco leases said lands to the
State of Washington by Borrow Permit Lease for consideration of Seventy -Five Dollars
($75.00).
NOW THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED by the City C6uncil of the CITY OF PASCO, Franklin
'County, Washington, that the City of Pasco in accordance with Chapter 266 of Laws of
$1943 and through its City Council, execute said Borrow Permit Lease and deliver said
lease to the State of Washington, Department of Highways.
