RESOLUTION NO 340
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INVESTMENT OF INACTIVE
FUNDS AND FUNDS IN EXCESS OF CURRENT NEEDS OF THE
BITY OF PASCO
WHEREAS the finance committee of the City of Pasco has advised
that an investment be made of inactive funds and funds in excess of
current'needsi.and
WHEREAS the City Council of.the City of Pasco deems such invest -
went to be in the best interests of the City of Pasco# now, there*
fore,#
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION Is That the sum of $306,000,00 be invested in United
States Bonds# United States certificates of indebtedness, Washington
State.Bonds or Warrants, General Obligation Bonds or Warrants or
Utility Revenue Bonds or Warrants of its won or of any other City
of the State of Washington, or in its own Bonds or Warrants of a
Local Improvement or condemnation award district which are within
the protection of the Local Improvement Guaranty Fund Law for a
period of ninety (90) days from the following funds in the follow
Ing amounts:
Water & Sewer Construction Fund, 1954 $200,000,00
Building and Alterations 50#000000
Airport 15,000.00
Firemen's Relief 7,000000
Cemetery Trust 1000*00
G. 01 Be -Bond 1tt, 000„00
L � I* D* Guarantee 12,#000:00
SECTION II: That the sum of $180,00000 be invested in any of the
aforesaid securities enumerated in Section I for a period of sixty
(60) days from the following fund in the following amount:
Water & Sewer Construction Fund, 1954 $180,000*00
