.A RESOLUTION CREATING.A CITY FINANCE COMMITTEE AND PRESCRIBING ITS
DUTIES, AUTHORITY .AND PROCEDURE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF P.ASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. Pursuant to the authority conferred by Chapter 45
of the Session Laws of 1935 of the State of Washington (RCW 35.39.020),
there is hereby created a City Finance Committee,, consisting of the
Mayor of the City of Pasco, the City Treasurer, and one member of the
City Council, all of whom shall serve without additional compensation.
The Council member shall be appointed by the City Council and
shall remain a member of the City Finance Committee at the pleasure of
the City Council.
Section II. The Mayor shall act as chairman of the committee and
the City Treasurer as secretary thereof. The office of the City Finance
Committee shall be in the office of the City Treasurer.
Section III. All records and all correspondence relating to the
City Finance Committee shall be kept in the office of the City
Treasurer and shall be open to public inspection.
Section IV. The City Finance Committee shall have all the powers
and perform each and all of the duties specified by said Chapter 45
of the 1935 Session Laws of the State of Washington, together with any
other duties or authority conferred upon it by the laws of the State of
Washington, the performance of such duties and the exercise of such
authority to be subject to each and all the limitations expressed in
such legislative enactment or enactments.
Section V. The City Council may refer to the City Finance Com-
mittee for its recommendation or approval, any proposal relating to any
of the matters and subjects in the power of the City Finance Committee,
and the City Finance Committee shall promptly report to the City
Council thereon giving such counsel as it may deem proper in the
premises.

Section VI. The committee shall make appropriate rules and
regulations not inconsistent with law.
