A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF PASCO TO
ACCEPT_A DEED FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND..TAKE OTHER NEEDED ACTIONS
IN CONNECTION WITH THE ACQUISITION OF LAND.TO•BE USED FOR A.WATER STORAGE.
TANK SITE.AND ACCESS.ROAD.
MHEREAS the City of Pasco, Franklin County, Washington, wishes to
acquire property for a water storage tank site and an access road, and
WHEREAS the United States of America, through the United States
Department --of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, has indicated a willingness
to deed such property to -the City of Pasco upon the passage of a resolution
authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to accept a deed and take other needed
actions in connection with the acquisition of such property, and
WHEREAS a fee of $100.00 may be charged, to cover administrative
costs of processing this transaction and to cover the loss of present and
future revenue from such property, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY OF PASCO DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.-That'the-Mayor and City'Clerk be -and they are hereby
authorized to accept a'deed.from the United States of America of the.following
described real property situated in Franklin County, Washington, to wit:
The west one—half of the northwest quarter of the southeast
quarter of the northeast quarter and the east one—half of the
northeast quarter of the southwest quarter of the northeast
quarter, ands a strip of land 30 feet on each side of a line
from the northwest corner of the southwest quarter of the
southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of section 14,
township 9 north, range 29 east, W.M. to a point on the east
line of said section 149 33.17 feet north of the east one—
quarter corner of section 14, township 9 north, range 29 east,
W.M.
Section 2. That the Mayor and City Council recognize that a fee of
$100.00 may be charged; to cover administrative costs of processing this trans—
action and to cover the loss of present an future revenue from this tract.
