BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, that.
upon completion of Highway connection between 8th & Lewis Streets and the
.new Columbia River Bridge and completion of Traffic Signal installation
in the vicinity of 10th & Lewis Streets the City Of Pasco will restrict
parking on Lewis Street between the intersections of 8th & Lewis and
12th & Lewis on West Lewis Street according to Stage No. 1 of State
Highway Commissions three stage proposal, accepted and approved by the
City of Pasco on March 3, 1953.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to accept Stage No. 2 and Stage No. 3 upon
completion of future studies of actual developments in travel habits,
traffic volumes and other street improvements in the urban area of Pasco,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution is effective only upon
completion of four paved lanes -between the new Columbia River Bridge and
the intersection of 8th & Lewis Street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is understood that the intersection
of 9th & Lewis and 11th & Lewis Streets be open for turning traffic.
BE.IT FURTHER RESOLVED that parking will be restricted during con-
struction upon request of State Highway Department on any portion of
city streets under construction or improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL THIS 21st DAY OF JULY, 1953.
