STREETS; USE OF S1NIIFAIING, POOL:; PARKS; PEM - IT FOR CARNIVAL ON
AINSWO RTH .
WHEREAS, the Pasco Water Follies Incorporated is a corporation
composed of seven Pasco service, fraternal and civic organizations
who annually stege a celebration for the City of Pasco.
WHEREAS the. Pasco Water Follies Incorporated,is a non-profit
organization using any profits for cummunity welfare, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY TkIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, that
the Pasco Water Follies Incorporated be authorized to stage the
Follies which includes boat races, swimming races, squar dances,
street dances, parades, lecture, fair, carnival, and license all
concessions on the streets and at the carnival and at the Memorial
w�
pool and at the boat races.
DE IT F-URTHER RESOLVED that all fees, licenses or charges nor-
mally made by the City in so far as they shall affect the celebration,
be waived for the week beginj.ng July 20th, 1953 and ending July 26th,
1953.
DATED this 16th day of June, 1953, and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Pasco, Washington.
