ON THAT PORTION OF EAST LEWIS STREET IN THE CITY OF PASCO LYING BETWEEN KAHLOTUS COUNTY ROAD ON ,THE ELST AND BEECH STREET ON THE WEST. WHEREAS, speed checks and actual trial runs have been made by the District Engineer of the Department of Highways of the State of Washington, on East Lewis Street (P.S.H. No. 3) in the City of Pasco, and WHEREAS a very small percentage of the existing traffic travels at the rate of 25 m.p.h., the existing legal rate of speed on East Lewis Street, and WHEREAS the office of the District Engineer of the Department of Highways of the State of Washington recommends that on the basis of the above speed checks the speed restric- tion be increased from 25 m.p.h. to 40 m.p.h. on that portion of East Lewis Street lying between Kahlotus County Road on the east and Beech Street on the west, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, that the speed restriction be increased from 25 m.p.h. to 40 m.p.h. on that portion of East Lewis Street in the City of Pasco (P.S.H. No. 3) lying between Kahlotus County Road (E.C.L.) on the east and Beech Street on the west.
