WHEREAS: Due to the volume of business how being transacted by
the City Water Department and the large number of different ac-
counts being carried by said Department, mt is necessary to inst-
all a double entry system of bookkeeping; and WHEREAS; It is belei-
ved to be to the best interests of said Water Department and the
City,to install a billing machine in connection with the bookkeeping;
and WHEREAS; To properly install and make use of a a billing machine
it will be necessary to employ an instructor for/short time to in-
ttruct in the use of said billing machine:

NOW THEREFORE:
Be it resolved by the mayor and council of the City
of Pasco:
That a double entry system of bookkeeping be installed
by the City Water Department and that the State Division of Munici-
pal corporations be requested to furnish9for such time as is nece-
saary,an instructor in the use of a billing machine at such time
as the same is installed and ready for use.
