WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco,
Washington, in Resolution No. 283 passed November 18, 1947, did
employ the firm of Graves, Kizer & Graves of Spokane, Washington,
as special counsel to prepare the necessary proceedings relative
to the proposed issue of '`Tater Revenue Bonds in the principal sum
of ?1200,000.00, said legal services to be completed on or before
January 1, 1948, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco,
Washington, in Resolution No. 287 passed December 31, 1947, did
extend the time for completion of services as special counsel to
March 1, 1948, and,
WHEREAS, the essential negotiations with investment
companies will make it impossible to complete the issuance of
sale of such bonds and the legal services relative thereto until
approximately two weeks after the regular Council meeting to be
held March 2, 19482
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the firm of Graves,
Kizer & Graves of Spokane, vIashington, heretofore employed as
special counsel to prepare the proceedings for the issuance,
advertisement and sale of an issue of Water Revenue Bonds for
the City of Pasco, Washington, in the principal amount of
$200,000.00, shall complete the services to be rendered as such
special counsel on or before March 20th, 1948 and shall be paid
the fee for such services authorized in Resolution No. 283 on or
before May 1st, 1948,
