HomeMy WebLinkAbout0283 ResolutionRESOLUTION NO. 283 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pasco, Washington, deem it advisable that the City of Pasco make additions and betterments and extensions to the City water system at an estimated cost of $200,000 and deem it advisable to issue Water Revenue Bonds payable from the revenues of the water system without incurring any general indebtedness of the said City of Pasco, and, WHEREAS, it will be necessary to offer the said Water Revenue Bonds to bond dealers and the City Council deem it advisable to employ the firm of Graves, Kizer & Graves of Spokane, Washington as special counsel to prepare the necessary proceedings covering the issuance and sale of such bonds so that the issuance may be authorized acid the bonds offered, prepared and delivered on or before January 1, 1948, and, WHEREAS, the said council considers that the sum of three thousand six hundred dollars ($3,600) is a reasonable fee for such services, NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City of Pasco employ the firm of Graves, Kizer & Graves of Spokane, Washington as special counsel to prepare proceedings for the issuance, advertisement and sale of an issue of Water Revenue Bonds of the City of Pasco, Washington in the principal amount of $200,000, to be paid on or before February 1, 1948.
