Whereas an emergency exists in the matter of making sewer conn-
ections ,in that owing to market condition4 it is impossible to
get the necessary pipe and fittings with which to make sewer con-
nections as the same are required; and Whereas it is the desire
of the Mayor and City Council not to work a hardship on the owners
of buildings and to grant such relief as is necessary therefore:
Be it resolved by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Pasco:
That where a reasonable showing is made that a party or parties
are unable to procure the necessary supplies and equipment for
the making of sewer connection within the City of Pasco,within
the time proscribed in the City ordinances therefor,that the City
Water department and other officers entrusted with the enforce-
ment of the ordiances requiring sewer connections, be and they
are hereby authorized and instructed to extend the time for making
such sewer connections until a reasonable time has elapsed after
supplies and equipment become available.
