WHEREAS, the City of Pasco is contemplating the installation of a
city water filtration plant, and Whereas, the said City of Pasco
is desirous of obtaining financial assistance from the State of
Washington for such installation; and Whereas, it is necessary
for the City to have matching funds on hand to match such sums
as the State of Washington may,advance-a nd Whereas a bond issue
has been voted by the said City of Pasco, which bonds are now being
prepared and advertised for sale, for the purpose of raising money
with which to install such filtration plant, and Whereas there is.
now no funds in said "Pasco 'Nater Filtration Plant --State Develop-
ment Fund" with which to match said funds to be advanced by the
State of Washington, and Whereas there, is sufficient funds in the
general fund of said city and it is desired to borrow from said
general fund the sum of .,$,30,000.00 to place to the credit of the
"Pasco Water Filtration Plant --State Development Fund" which said
sum is to be repaird to the general fund from the money derived
from the sale of general obligation filtration plant bonds:
NOW THEREFORE:
Be it resolved by the Mayor and City Council of the
City of Pasco•.
That the City Treasurer of the City of Pasco, be and
he is hereby instructed to transfer from the general fund of the
City of Pasco, the sum of $ 30,000.00 and place the sum in the
"Pasco Water Filtration Plant --State Development Fund" and upon
receipt of sufficient moneys from the sale of the filtration
General Obligation Bonds to s -o do, to replace the said sum of
$30,000.00 in the general fund of said city of Pasco, out of such
bond sales funds.
