WHEREAS, The Naval Air Station has now been placed on an inac-
tive basis and there is no longer a large number of people stationed
at said Naval Air Base and it is not feasable or necessary to use
the sewage disposal plant at said Naval Air Base, and WHEREAS, the
sewer connected with said Naval Air Base can be used without the use
of the sewage disposal plant and it is desired to so use said sewer:
NOW THEREFORE:
De it resolved by the Mayor and City Council that the
Naval Air Base located at Pasco, Washington, be and they are hereby
permitted to use the sewer and dump the sewage from said Naval Air
Base directly into the sewer connected with the Pasco Sewer System
without the use of the sewage disposal plant at said Naval Air Base
so long as no more than fifty (50) persons are stationed at or using
said Naval Air Base. That in the event that more than fifty (50)per-
sons are stationed at said Naval Air base or using the sewer system
of said Naval Air Base the it shall be incumbent upon said Naval
Air Base to operate the said sewage disposal plant before the sewage
therefrom entees the Pasco City Sewer system.
Providing however that the city be permitted to connect
and use the Naval Air Base sewer within the city limits.
