RESOLUTION NO 243
.WHEREAS, I.here #s there is now sufficient funds in the general fund
of the city of Pasco not otherwise alocated, and WHEREAS, the said funds
will not be needed during the present fiscal year for other purposes,
and it is desirable to purchase U.S.Government War Bonds and secure the
interest therefrom and also help the war effort:
NOW THEREFORE;
Be it resolved by the mayor and city council that the
city Treasurer is hereby authorized and instructed to purchase the sum
of 8 359000.00 worth of Series G United States Government
War Bonds from the general funds of the city of Pasco and charge the
same against said fund.
Passed by the Council this 26 day of June 1945.
