WHEREAS, application has been made to the city eouncil of the

requiring all sewer pipes and connection to be oron,and allowing

connections tq be made with concrete or other than%iron pipe for the

reason that/iron pipe is not immediately available and immediate con-
nections with the sewer are desired as new houses are under constructinn:.
NOW THEREFORE:
Be it resolved that the provisions of ordinances requir-
cast
ing, iron pipe and connections in making connections with city sewers
are hereby waived upon the following terms and conditionsgto-wit:

For each connection to be made to.the sewer with other thaiV iron pipes
and connections the party or parties making such connections shall first
obtain a permit from the city council and shall deposit with the city
clerk the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) as a guarantee that

within ninety days after/ iron pipe and connections are available the
connections will be changed,the initial pipe and connection being re -

placed witW,,,iron pipe and conneetions and unless such change is made by
the parties or their representatives within said time the dity shall
be authorized to mkke such change at the expense of the perties install-
ing the connections and deduct the cost thereof from the $500.00 deposit.
A written agreement to the above effdlkc to be entered into before such
installation is made.
