RESOLUTION NO
NHEREAS an emergency exists and it is necessary for the Government
of the United States to raise a large -sum of money for the success-
ful prosecution of thw war now existing,and Whereas in order to ra-
ise said money the said Government is.now offering for sale Gove.rn-
ment bonds,which bonds are payable at any time,and Whereas the City
of Pasco has sufficient funds novo accumulated in the accumulate,.1'e
building and..alterations:.fund no t otherwise allocated with which
to purchase bonds in the sum 6f $14000,00.
NOV`I THEREFORE
Be it resolved by t'he City Coimcil of the. City of
Pascejranklin County, Washington.: That the City Treasurer be
anal he is Hereby; authorized and. instructed to purchase from the
accumulative building, and alterations fund of said. City,United States
Government Bonds of, the class and kind redeemable or payable at. any
time in the full sum of Fourteen Thousand ($14,000.00) Dollars and
pay for same out of the accumulative building and alterations fund
and charge the same to said fund.
