,IHEREAS, The housing conditions in Pasco are becoming more
critical every day.
II.
AND WEEREAS,Private housing facilities, hotel, and cabin
accommodations, are exhausted.
III.
WHEREAS, The critical need for houses will increase rapidly
according to our best information, and while we realize that
surveys have been made concerning conditions here, yet basic facts
have changed so rapidly that a further examination into Pasco's
needs is imperatively necessary.
NOVI TFMREFORE', BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PASCO:
I.
The National Housing Authority be requested to allocate
additional units for both private and public construction in
Pasco.
II.
That the Pasco Housing Authority be asked to construct
additional public housing units, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that
according to the information available there is need for additional
units for from 1,000 to 1,500 families.
III.
That a copy of this resolution be sent to the National
Housing Agency and the.Pasco Housing Authority.
