RESOLUTION NO. 197
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO,
WASHINGTON.
1.
That E. S. Johnston, Mayor, and Adah Perry, City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized to execute a Warranty Deed conveying
to the United States of America for the purpose of a Federal Recreation
Building, the following described property situate in the County
of Franklin and State of Washington.
That part of the City Park in Pasco, situate in the
west half of northwest quarter (W2 of NWt) of Section
twenty --nine (29) in Township nine (9) North, Range thirty
(30) East of the Willamette Meridian, described by metes
and bounds as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner,..
of Nixon Street and North Third Avenue in the City of
Pasco; thence northwesterly, along the west line of said
North Third Avenue, 720 feet to the point of beginning of
the tract of land herein described; thence continuing
northwesterly along said west line of North Third Avenue,
150 feet; thence southwesterly at right angles 170,74 feet
to the east line of North Fourth Avenue; thence southerly,
along said North Fourth Avenue, 159..08 feet; thence north-
easterly 223.71 feet to theoint of beginning; containing
sixty-eight hundredths (0.68 of an acre, more or less.
Passed this 1 day of Larch, 1943 and approved this
day of March, 1943.
