2 VTMEA.S there have been filed with the Interstate Commerce
3 Commission numerous applications by Bulk Petroleum Carriers for
4 temporary authority to operate in Interstate Commerce from the
5 Bulk Petroleum Terminal constructed by the Port of Pasco, a
6 municipal corporation of the State of Washington, at Pasco,
7 Washington and also numerous applications for certificates of
8 necessity and convenience for the same purpose.
9 And ViBEMEAS said applications for certificates of necessity
10 and convenience have been set for hearing before a Joint Board
11 of said Commission at Pasco beginning December 1, 1941.
12 And VYMREAS it is to the advantage of the City of Pasco
13 for the said Commission to grant all of said applications
14
now, therefore the city council of the City of Pasco, a municipal
15 corporation of the State of Washington, finds that the granting
16 of said applications both temporary and permanent is in the
17 public interest of the inhabitants of the City of Pasco, Washington
18 and in the public convenience and necessity, and
19 Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Pasco
20 as follows:
Section One: That the City of Pasco intervene in said
21
22 hearings in support of said applications and that its appearance
be made through Karl J. Grimm as attorney and Johnston B. Campbell
23
of Counsel and that the above named attorneys' be authorized to
24
25 prosecute the same on behalf of the 8ity of Pasco.
