RESOLUTION DECLARING RESULT OF SPECIAL ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY
OF PASCO, 1,11ASI.-iIINGTON, ON SEPTEII.MER 20, 1938
The City Council met in special session, x-X=Xdt at the call
of the mayor, for the purpose, among other thin7,s, of canvassing
the vote of the special election held Septe,.lber 20, 1938; and
there being members of the Council present, the said
council then proceeded to the canvass of the vote of said special
election; and having so canvassed the said vote of special election,
finds and hereby declares that on the nronositions submitted thereat,
/P ff votes were cast in the several -precincts of the said
city on said date, and that of such votes, 45t 0>' -were 'For the
building and installing of a filtration- plant and the making of
other imnrovements and additions to the eater system, and the issu-
ance of ?cater utility bonds therefor in an amount not to exceed.
867,375.00, as provided in Ordinance No. 435"; and_ Z<3�Frere
°AP:ainst the proposal to buil'd and install a filtration -plant and
make other im-orovements to the city water syste::i and against the
issuance of bonds for the payment thereof, as -provided in Ordinance
No. 436. "
THEREFFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council finds that a majority
of the said votes so cast at said election were in favor of the
-oro-oosal to build and install a filtration -plant and make other
additions and improvements to the water system, and the issuance
and sale of water utility bbnds therefor.
