A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO FILE AN APPLICATION TO THE
UNITED STATES OF AFRICA THROUGH THE FEDERAL Eh''�'RGENCY AD11INISTATION
OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR A GRANT TO AID IN FINANCING THE CONSTRUCTION
OF A FILTRATION PLANT AND OTHER IlT- ROVEAIIENTS TO THE CITY WATER
SYSTEH AND DESIGNATING JOHN W. CUNNINGHAIv! TO FURNISH SUCH INFORA,A°
TION AS THE GOVERNMENT 1-LkY REQUEST.
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Pasco:
Section 1.
That the City Clerk be and is hrreby authorized to execute
and file an application on behalf of the City of Pasco, Washington,
to the United States of America for a grant to aid in financing
the construction of a filtration plant and other improvements to
the City Water System.
Section 2.
That John W. Cunningham be and is hereby authorized and directed
to furnish such information as the United States of America through
the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works may reason-
ably request in connection with the application which is herein
authorized to be filed.
Passed and approved this 11th day of June, 1938.

In con-Dliance with the resolution of the
City Council directing the Planning Commission to pre-
pare a plan for the zoning of the City and to present
such plan in the form of an ordinance providing for the
zoning of the City, the said Planning Commission han
studied the said problem and has caused to be prepared
and presents herewith an ordinance providing for the
zoning of the City for purposes of use as provided in
Chapter 44 of the Laws of 1935, and the Planning
Commission respectfully recommends that the said ordi-
nance be passed and placed in effect.
