WHEREAS.* It has been reported that the State Liquor
Control Board contemplates the changing of the location
of the State Liquor Store from its present location on
Lewis Street, between Third and Fourth Streets to,a location
.on Fourth Avenue North of Lewis Street„ and whereas such
proposed new location in the heart of the shopping district
and adjaoa t to the towns only theatre and is in the opinion
of the City Council therefore undesirable; THEREFORE BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Oity Council does.hereby respectfully,
protest such proposed changes or any change of the location
of said store to any point on Four.�h Avenue North of the
intersection of West Lewis Street and Fourth Streeto
Passed and approved this 23rd of May 1938«
