RESQLUTION INSTRUCTING THE CITY TREASURER AND THE COUNTY
TRE UREIC TO CANCEL CERTAIN LOCAL _I:uiPROVEI1ENT ASSESS ,1ENTS
WHEREAS, heretofore there was levied certain local
improvement assessments for the maintenance of an old irrigation
water system in the City of Pasco, in Local Improvement Districts
Nos. 25,.43, and 44, and.WHEREAS, certain of those assessments have
remained due and unpaid over a long period of time, and the statute
of limitations against the collection thereof has run,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Pasco that the City Treasurer of said City be and she is
hereby authorized and directed to cancel of record any and all as-
sessments shown upon her books remaining unpaid in Local Improve-
ment Maintenance Districts Nos. 25, 43, and 44.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in the event any such
assessments have heretofore been certified to the County Treasurer
for collection, that the said County Treasurer be and is hereby
instructed to cancel such assessments of record, and that a copy
of this resolution be given by the City Clerk to both the City
Treasurer and the County Treasurer.
