Be it resolved b�i'the Library Board and City Council
that owing to increased population in this area crowd-
ed conditions exist at the Library thus creating the
need of Library extension, books and more help.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the above mentioned
emergency does exist and there are insufficient funds
in the budget to meet the emergency.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE AGREEMENT
WHuRAS, there has been filed with the Bureau of Community
Facilities of the Federal Works Agency in behalf of
_______ City _of_Pasco

( Name of Local Entity to whom agreement made
( herein called the "applicant"), an application for federal
assistance under the so-called Lanham Act, as amended, and the
UNITED STATES OF ANFRICA, acting by and through the Commissioner
of Commfnity Facilities, has transmitted to the Applicant for
acceptance an Agreement of federa]l assistance in connection -
with the Project referred to in said application and described
in said Agreement; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement has been duly read in open meeting,
fully considered in accordance with all pertinent rules of
procedure and legal requirements, and made a pert of the Applicant's
public records; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable and in the public interest
that said Agreement be accepted:
NOW,THEREFORE, be it _ Resolved___ __by the

City Council of the Applicant that the said Agreement,

and correct copy of which, including the Terms and Conditions,
