HomeMy WebLinkAbout2113 OrdinanceORDINANCE NO. 2113 AN ORDINANCE relating to the creation of the Pasco/Franklin County Senior Citizens' Center Improvement Fund, a new fund, designating the sources for said fund and the purpose of expenditures from said fund. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Section 3.50.010 of the Pasco Municipal Code is hereby enacted to read as follows: P.M.C. 3.50.010 FUND CREATED. A fund shall be created to be known as the "Pasco/Franklin County Senior Citizens' Center Improvement Fund." This fund shall be separate from other funds of the City:.of Pasco and all interest attributable to the monies in this fund shall be added to the monies in the fund. The monies contained in this fund may be invested with monies from other funds in a manner that best serves the interest of the respective funds. The monies in this fund shall be solely reserved for the expansion of and improvements to the Pasco/Franklin County Senior Citizens' Center, including the addition of any furnishings. Section 2. That Section 3.50.020 of the Pasco Municipal Code. is hereby enacted to read as follows: P.M.C. 3.50.020 SOURCE OF MONIES. The sole source of monies for this fund shall be contributions or gifts from sources other than the City of Pasco designated for the purpose of improving the Pasco/ Franklin County Senior Citizens' Center. Section 3. That Section 3.50.030 of the Pasco Municipal Code is hereby enacted to read as follows: P.M.C. 3.50.020 EXPENDITURES. Monies contained in this fund shall be expended solely for the purposes of expanding the Pasco/Franklin County Senior Citizens' Center from its design as shown in the approved Schematic Plan for the Center of November, 1979, and for the furnishing of the Pasco/Franklin County Senior Citizens' Center. Disbursements shall be made only after the City Council has provided for such in the budget for the city. Such disbursements shall be made only after receiving the recommendation of an advisory committee for this fund. The advisory committee shall consist of the following persons: the Pasco City Manager, the Chairman of the Franklin County Board of Commissioners, the Director of the City of_Pasco's Park:.and Recreation Department, the City of Pasco's Senior Citizen Coordinator, and the President of the Pasco/Franklin County Senior Citizens' Club. Section 4. This ordinance will be in full force and effect upon its passage and publication as required by law. -2- P by the City Council of the City of Pasco this & day of , 1979.
