ORDINANCE NO. 2111
AN ORDINANCE relating to the creation of the "Pasco Municipal
Golf Course Redevelopment Fund," a new fund, designating
the sources of revenue for this fund and the purpose
of expenditures from this fund.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 3.49.010 of the Pasco Municipal Code
is hereby enacted to read as follows:
P.M.C. 3.49.010 A fund shall be created to be known as the
"Pasco Municipal Golf Course Redevelopment Fund." This fund shall
be separate from other funds of the City of Pasco and all interest
attributable to the monies in this fund shall be added to the monies
in the fund. The monies contained in this fund may be invested with
monies from other funds in a manner that best serves the interests
of the respective funds. Should this fund be dissolved by the
council in the future, any monies contained therein shall be deposited
in the general fund of the city unless otherwise required by law.
Section 2. That Section 3.49.020 of the Pasco Municipal Code
is hereby enacted to read as follows:
P.M.C. 3.49.020 SOURCE OF MONIES. Monies deposited in this
fund shall be all income derived from the sales of land now owned
by the city in the area of the presently existing municipal golf
course. This shall include all the municipally owned land as
designated on the Pasco Municipal Golf Course Redevelopment Master
Plan which was adopted by the City Council by Resolution No. 1296.
Income from other activities associated with this redevelopment plan
shall also be deposited in this fund. The City Council may designate
further sources of monies for this fund.
Section 3. That Section 3.49.030 of the Pasco Municipal Code
is hereby enacted to read as follows:
P.M.C. :.3.49.030 EXPENDITURES. Monies contained in this fund
shall be expended for the purpose of accomplishing the Pasco Municipal
Golf Course Redevelopment Plan as adopted by Resolution No. 1296 or
for such other related expenditures as the City Council shall
designate.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
after its passage and publication as required by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Pasco this 19 day
of November 1979.
