ORDINANCE NO. 2068
AN ORDINANCE relating to roadway widths by amending Pasco Municipal
Code 21.16.170.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 21.16.170 of the Pasco Municipal Code
(prior code § 9-8.227) be and the same is hereby amended to read as
follows:
P.M.C. 21.16.170 ROADWAY WIDTHS. Minimum roadway widths for
all streets, measured from the face of one curb to the face of the
other curb (or from the edge of the pavement to the other edge of the
pavement in the event there are no curbs required); and for all alleys
included in any subdivision shall not be -less than the minimum dimension
for each classification as follows:
Arterial, primary, dual roadway - As determined by the city
engineer from plans approved by the city council.
Arterial, primary, single roadway - As determined by the city
engineer from plans approved by the city council.
Arterial, secondary - 62 feet.
Access Streets - (a) 38 feet from the face of the curb to the
face of the other curb on residential access
streets.
(b) 36 feet from the edge of the pavement to the
other edge of the pavement on suburban
access streets.
Cul-de-sacs - the same as for access streets with an 80 foot
turn -around for a residential access street and a
76 foot turn -around for a suburban access street.
Alleys - 20 feet
Roadway wearing surfaces shall be constructed to a width as
determined by the city engineer based on minimum standards as adopted
by the city council.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after
its passage and publication as required by law.
