HomeMy WebLinkAbout2058 OrdinanceY Lo a r . ORDINANCE NO. 2058 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PASCO PROHIBITING PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS BY AMENDING SECTION 10.56.080 OF THE PASCO MUNICIPAL CODE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Section 10.56.080 of the Pasco Municipal Code (Ord. 1999 S4,1978 be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: P.M.C. 10.56.080 SCHEDULE III - PARKING PROHEBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS. In accordance with Section 10.56.030, and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall at any time park a vehicle upon any of the following described streets or parts of streets: Agate Street - Between Fourth and Fifth Avenues. Court Street _.From Seventeenth Avenue blest to State Highway 12 (The By -Pass Highway). Fourth Avenue - On the east side from Sylvester Street north for 140 feet. Lewis Street - From First Avenue to seventy.feet east. Lewis Street-'Ninth'Avenue to Eleventh Avenue. Ruby Street - Between Fourth Avenue and Fifth Avenues. Tenth Avenue - From "B" Street to and including the Intercity Bridge. Twenthieth Avenue - blest side of Twentieth Avenue, from one hundred fifty feet north of Court Street to one hundred -fifty feet south of Sylvester Street. Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and publication as required by law. The reason this is being considered is, if parking is removed, it would allow 4th Avenue to be marked as a four lane roadway. This would help reduce congestion, increase capacity, and be a positive factor in accident prevention. Since the proposal will affect you, you are invited to attend and provide the City Council input to consider this matter.
