AN ORDINANCE relating to the license fees for various private security
agencies and for their security officers by amending
Pasco Municipal Code 5.48.060 (Ordinance 1907 §15) to
provide for renewal fees of ten dollars ($10.00) for
annual renewal fees.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Pasco Municipal Code (Ordinance 1907 X15) be
and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
P.M.C. 5.48.060 LICENSE FEES. The license fee for a security
police agency, a merchant patrol agency, a private detective
agency, a security police officer, a merchant patrol officer,
and a private detective shall be and are fixed in the amounts
shown in the following schedule, and shall be payable annually
in advance. The license fee for any agency will permit one
owner of that agency to be issued a permit card.
Any person or agency involved in security police, merchant patrol,
and private detective business shall only be required to pay the
license fee for one business; such person or agency must, however,
declare which permitted activites the agency will perform.

Security police officer, merchant patrol officer, and private
detective licenses will only be issued to bona fide employees
of a security police, merchant patrol or private detective
agency. Such license will not be transferable from one agency
to another without the express written consent of the original
agency of issue when that agency paid the holder's license fee.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect after
the passage and publication as required by law.
PASSED by the Council of the City of Pasco this 16 day of
October 1978.
