This is a problem that occasionally arises when an effort is made to inform the voters as fully as possible in the ballot title of precisely what is intended to be acquired. The alterna- tive is to shorten the ballot title and leave the dissemination of complete information to publicity prior to the election. Accordingly, you will find enclosed a new ordinance amending the ballot title in a manner which I have discussed with Dorothy Towne who is satisfied with the modified language. I recommend that the amendatory ordinance be adopted at the next regular City Council meeting and that a certified copy fh—eTle7oe promptly furnished to the County Auditor.
