HomeMy WebLinkAbout1946 OrdinanceORDINANCE NO. 1946 G11317, r . AN ORDINANCE relating to zoning and amending Title 22 of the Pasco Municipal Code by amending Chapter 22.48 and 22.56 thereof. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Chapter 22.48 of the Pasco Municipal Code be and the same is hereby amended by amending Section 22.48.030 thereof to read as follows: 22.48.030 PERMITTED USES. The following uses shall be permitted in the C-3 zone: (1) All uses permitted in the R -1-S, R-1, R-2 and R-3 zoning districts; (2) All uses permitted in the C-2 business district; (3) Service stations; (4) Mortuary; (5) Laundry; (6) Express office; (7) Wholesale business; (8) Heavy machinery sales and service; (9) Warehouse; (10) Landscape gardening and storage area for equipment and materials; (11) Automobile sales and service; (12) Mobile home and trailer sales and service; (13) Lumber yards, provided, however, that all outdoor storage of lumber and materials shall be enclosed by a sight obscuring fence of six (6) feet in heiqht. Section 2. That Chapter 22.56 of the Pasco Municipal Code be and the same is hereby'amended by amending Section 22.56.010 thereof to read as follows: 22.56.010 PERMITTED USES. Uses permitted in the I-1 zone shall be: (1) All uses permitted in the C-3 district, except residential dwellings, provided, however, any residential dwelling existing as of the effective date of this title shall remain as a permitted use; (2) Building material storage yards; (3) Carting, express and storage yards; (4) Contractor's plant or storage yards; (5) Electrical central power station; -2- (6) Laboratories, experimental; (7) Automotive assembly and repair, major; (8) Creamery, bottling, ice manufacture and cold storage plant; (9) Blacksmith, welding, or other metal shops, excluding punch presses over twenty tons rated capacity, drop hammers, and the like; (10) Foundry casting nonferrous metals or electric foundry not causing noxious fumes or odors; (11) The manufacturing, compounding, processing, packaging of cosmetics, pharmacology, and food products, except fish and meat products, and the reducing and refining of fats and oils; (12) Printing plant. Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective upon its passage and publication as required by law. PASSED by the Council of the City of Pasco this 20 day of March . 1978.
