ORDINANCE NO. 1917
AN ORDINANCE relating to annexation and annexing a tract of land
to the City of Pasco.
WHEREAS, a valid petition has been filed with the City of Pasco
for the annexation of a tract of land, hereinafter described, to
the City of Pasco, and
WHEREAS, proper notice of hearing on said petition has been
given in the form and manner required by law, and
WHEREAS, hearing on the petition was held on January 3, 1978;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: '
Section 1. That the following described tract of land, situate
in Franklin County, Washington, to -wit:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Block 4, Hull -Lee Subdivision,
as recorded in Volume "C" of Plats, page 68, records of Franklin
County, Washington; thence south 2100148" west along the east
margin of County Road No. 32 a distance of 80.40 feet; thence
south 87159112" east 200.00 feet; thence due south 116.92,feet, .
to a line which is parallel with and 30 feet northerly from
(when measured at right angles to) the north margin of Court
Street as .shown on Washington State Highway Department Right -of -
Way Plan, Primary State Highway No. 3, Columbia River to Snake
River, sheet 6 of 33 sheets, approved January 8, 1963, revised
December 3, 1963, and the true point of beginning; thence north
88120'39" east along said parallel line 355.39 feet to the
westerly right-of-way of Primary State Highway No. 3 as shown
on said highway plan; thence North 4°59154" east along said
westerly right-of-way 184.80 feet; thence North 41159154" east
along said right-of-way 13.00 feet to the south margin of Ruby
Street; thence north 88058121" west along said south margin
577.10 feet to the point of beginning, together with ,that portion
of Court Street that lies contiguous to the south 355.39 feet
of the above said property,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Pasco and is hereby
declared to be within the corporate limits of the City of Pasco.
Section 2. That the comprehensive plan of the City of Pasco be
and the same is hereby adopted for the above described tract of land. CI?
Section 3. That said tract of land shall not assume any existing 2E
indebtedness of the City of Pasco. Ln.

Section 4. That the zoning classification for the tract of land
be and the same shall be as follows: C-1 Retail Business
Section 5. That the above described tract of land shall be in
voting district number two.
Section 6. That a certified copy of this Ordinance be and the
same shall be filed with the Franklin County Commissioners and the
Franklin County Auditor.
Section 7. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
after its passage and publication as required by law.
