HomeMy WebLinkAbout1879 OrdinanceORDINANCE NO. 1879 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1977 ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE CITY OF PASCO BY PROVIDING A SUPPLEMENT THERETO;APPROPRIATING $31.4,6.00 OF ANTICIPATED REVENUE; MAKING EXPENDITURE ADJUSTMENTS TO THE GENERAL FUND, PARK FUND, GOLF FUND,.CITY.STREET FUND, ARTERIAL -STREET FUND, NEIGHBORHOOD'FACILI.TY FUND:, BOAT. -BASIN FUND, CEMETERY FUND, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, certain funds have been received in excess of the amount anticipated at the time the 1977 Budget was prepared, and WHEREAS, certain necessary expenditures were anticipated and therefore not included in the 1977 Budget; 'NOW, THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Pasco do ordain as follows: Section 1. That the 1977 Budget be and the same is hereby amended to indicate the following adjustments to revenue. That additions in appropriations and expenditures are hereby declared to exist in the above funds for the said uses and purposes, and the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to issue warrants in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. Section 4. That the aforesaid additions could not have been foreseen at the time the 1977 Budget was approved; that the aforesaid additions and appropriations are necessary for the proper operation and support of the City government; and that by reason of the aforesaid, a public emergency is declared to exist making necessary the passage of this ordinance and the appropriations herein contained, and, further, that this ordinance shall take effect after publication as required by law.
