AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1839,
BEING AN ORDINANCE SETTING FORTH THE PROJECTS TO BE
FUNDED FROM FUNDS RECEIVED UNDER TITLE II OF THE PUBLIC
WORKS ACT OF 1976.
WHEREAS, the City Council did set forth proposed projects to be funded
from funds to be received under Title II of the Public Works Act of 1976 in
Ordinance No. 1839, and,
WHEREAS, it is now in the City's best interest to redesignate the projects
to be funded with above mentioned funds, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Anti -Recessionary Funds received and anticipated to be received
under the Public Works Act of 1976 are to be expended for the following purposes:
1. To pay the increased cost of providing medical, dental, and
State Industrial insurance premiums for City employees, $25,000
2. To replace worn out traffic controllers and replace non -
reflective or deficient traffic signs with reflectorized
signs that conform to the new Federal & State requirements. $15,000
3. Provide secretary for Detectives to make their operation
more efficient. $10,000
4. Replace worn out light bars, sirens and radios in Patrol
cars. $10,000
5. Provide for a full time City Attorney to handle the in-
creased legal needs of the City. $10,000
TOTAL ANTICIPATED FUNDS: $70,000
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its
passage and publication as required by law.
