HomeMy WebLinkAbout1842 OrdinanceORDINANCE NO. 1842 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $10,000 OF UNANTICIPATED REVENUE, MAKE AN ADDITION TO THE BOAT BASIN FUND, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the City has entered into a contract with the United States Corps of Engineers for the lease of the Boat Basin, located in the City of Pasco, and WHEREAS, under the terms of this contract, the United States Government is to give the City of Pasco approximately $10,000 to make certain improvements to the Building located at the Boat Basin, and WHEREAS, these revenue and expenditures could not have been anticipated at the time the 1977 Budget was prepared and therefore not included, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The 1977 Budget be amended to indicate the following addition to Revenue: Boat Basin Fund: Code 185-331-30 $10,000 Section II. The 1977 Budget be amended to indicate the following addition to expenditures: Boat Basin Fund: Code 185-470-533-50-62 $10,000 Section III. That additions in appropriations and expenditures are hereby declared to exist in the above fund for the said use and purpose, and the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to issue warrants in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. Section IV. That the aforesaid additions could not have been foreseen at the time the 1977 Budget was approved, and an emergency is now declared to exist. Section V. That this Ordinance shall be in futTl force and effect after its passage and publication as required by law.
