AN ORDINANCE SETTING SALARIES FOR CERTAIN CITY OFFICERS AND
PERSONNEL, AND AMENDING SECTION 2.42.600 OF THE PASCO
MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED "CURRENT SALARIES."
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the salaries of City employees and
finds it in the best interests 6f the City to raise said salaries, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it advisable to set salaries for certain
City officers and personnel by an Ordinance separate from the City Budget Ordinance,
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PASCO, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 2.42.600 of the Pasco Municipal Code is hereby amended
to read as follows:
2.42.600 CURRENT SALARIES. The current salaries of certain
employees of the City shall be as set forth in the following
exhibits attached hereto;

Part Time Employees
Section 2. In addition to the salaries set forth in Section 1, all regular
full time and regular part time employees shall be entitled to the insurance benefits
listed below. All benefits to be provided by insurance carriers selected by the City
and, except as noted, all premiums will be paid by the City.
1. Medical Insurance
2. Dental Insurance
3. Life Insurance - $2,500
4. State Industrial Insurance, Medical Aid and Pension, as provided for
in the Revised Code of Washington, Title 51. The cost of Medical Aid
and Pension are to be shared equally by the employer and employee.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after its
passage and publication as required by law.

In addition to other compensation, all Department Directors and City Manager
shall be eligible for merit payments not to exceed ten (10) days. Such merit
payments shall be made upon an evaluation and recommendation of the City Manager
and confirmation by the City Council, with the exception of the City Manager who
will be evaluated by the City Council. Such payments shall be made to eligible
Department Directors in December of each year.
